Right now I don’t know what to do. Despite actually qualifying for and being enrolled in assistance programs in Philly, this is my light bill. Even though part of my balance was supposedly covered, and someone helping me to apply with a new program, My balance is this huge amount and it’s due by this week’s end. Never mind my gas bill, my phone and internet, and my bank account info being compromised after “losing” it and dealing with an escalating situation with an abusive roommate. I want to break my lease and relocate somewhere I will feel safe. The physical toll this is taking on me is not insignificant. I’ve had to install cameras and a new lock on my door bc all my shit is missing and inexplicably turning up amongst her things. My bank account has been suspiciously accessed many times these past few weeks. I am at my wit’s end and feel more alone and unsafe than ever. It’s taken so much to make this post. After the assault I narrowly escaped in March I had to deal with violence in my own home. I’m absolutely begging for people to show up the way they did 2 months ago. I need help. Please let the right people find this.

As I said before I was stolen from and scammed and hacked along with a slew of other very traumatic violations on my person by my former roommate and she is the reason for my bill being this high. If I ever want to rent in the state of Pennsylvania again this balance needs to effectively vanish. I know that there are people who have the means to make this go away with little impact on their finances, I’ve been helped generously because of this website before. Please, find it in your heart to help me with this if you are able. Your allyship is how I’ve stayed alive for years.
